Our Vision/Mission

Vision Statement

Agape Source Financial Corporation stands firmly on the Word of God instructing His will towards our finances. He clearly states in Proverbs 22:7 “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.” and Romans 13:8 “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another.” Agape Source Financial Corporation interprets these scriptures as we are to live free of debt, and to care for the needs of others.  God never meant for the orphans, widows, and the needy to be taken care of by the government, He gave that responsibility to His Church. As we look at our communities and government this is not the current state of affairs. We must repent and turn back to the basics of Jesus’s teaching to us: “Love one another, just as I have loved you, so you must love one another.” -John 13:34

It is our vision and mission to help those that are in burdensome debt or reliant upon a government agency to become financially independent. To many individuals are either a slave to a lender or a slave to a government program.  We want to empower people to become financially independent and responsible. Educating individuals to pay for their needs and save for their wants. More importantly, learn that enough is more of a decision than an amount.

We will work with individuals on a weekly basis with financial mentors, expecting full transparency and the willingness to do the hard work as we provide support. We will walk alongside, helping them to create a plan and provide financial investments that are necessary to move forward.

It would have been very cruel for Jesus to tell us He was the Way, the Truth, and the Life, but ran from the Cross. We needed Him to do for us that which we couldn’t do ourselves.

Mission Statement

It is our mission to provide financial help, hope, and healing according to Godly principles. We will empower those that desire to be financially responsible and independent by providing education, accountability, and investments, according to God’s word.  Agape’s vision and mission is based on Isaiah 58; and we believe when we begin to care for one another, we will see God’s love shine before us and healing in our land appear.

We know there are many reasons for debt, circumstances or character, at times, a little of both, regardless; we know to get out of a mud hole sometimes a person may need a push or a pull. We are all affected by the debt, whether we wear the chains or not. Maybe it is time to begin working in the mission field we have sitting right next to us in the pew or in the house down the street. This does not mean we enable, but it does mean we empower. We give the tools and the ability for individuals to get out of the mud.

While the ark was being built, Noah had yet to see it rain. We cannot claim the same innocence; we are watching others drown all around us. We must not close our eyes to the needs; but be willing to help. We have been asked to build an ark once again.

“This is how we know what love is; Jesus Christ laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

1 John 3:16
